Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Forest Management, Biodiversity, and Heritage
We invite scholars, practitioners, and apiarists from around the world to contribute to an interdisciplinary dialogue on tree-beekeeping (bartnictwo) and boreal apiary. These traditional practices, deeply rooted in forest ecosystems, are vital for sustaining biodiversity, enhancing pollinator health, preserving genetic diversity, and safeguarding intangible cultural heritage. This call seeks to explore the intricate relationships between tree-beekeeping, sustainable forest management, and innovative approaches to ecological and cultural resilience. The aim is to Publish the Special Edition under an Open Access, peer-review journal edited Pawlowska-Mainville (UNBC), Zajdel (Warsaw University of Life Sciences-SGGW) and Nawrocki (WWF-Poland).
